Five Days International Workshop on "Research Methodology" (In Hybrid Mode), organized by RC: 25, Sociology of Sports, Indian Sociological Society, New Delhi , in Collaboration with PG & Research Department of History, Providence College for Women (Autonomous), Coonoor. During this five-days workshop, Rev. Dr. Sr. Sheela V.J., Sr. Secretary, gave a Presidential Address about Research Methodology. Dr. Visalakshi.N, HoD and Associate Professor Department of Botany delivered the Welcome Address. The Resource Person were Dr. Michella Jonathan, Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities, Faculty of Social Work, University of Manitoba, Canada, and the Chief Guest, Dr. P. Kumaran, Assistant Professor, Department of History, Melvisharam Ranipet, presented the talk on Research and shared his research experience with the students. The Resource Person, Mr. Benet Rajadurai, Research and Development Cell Coordinator and Secretary of UGC CARE List Journal, also contributed his talk on Research Methodology, it was very interactive and interesting session among students. And also one more interactive session about research orientation was conducted by Dr. T. Rajeetha, Department of English, Saraswati College of Arts and Science, Theni, and Dr. P. Palpandi, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Pasumpon Muthu Ramalinga Thevar College, Madurai. Dr. S. Swaminathan, Associate Professor of History, Thiruvalluvar Government Arts College, Namakkal, delivered a keynote address, shared his research experiences with the students. A book on Research Methodology was released by Sr. Alphonsa K.C. and handed over to Dr. S. Swaminathan. The Valedictory Ceremony was addressed by Dr. S. Mari Muthu, Assistant Professor of History, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. At the end of the session, students shared their feedback and received certificates. The workshop helped students to gain knowledge about research, including how to go on with research studies and analyze literature in various disciplines. The Organizing Secretary of this Workshop was Dr. Shani Ruskin R., Head and Assistant Professor, Department of History, supported by Dr. N. Sudha, Dr. Saumya Raj S.R., Mr. Revathi R., Dr. Dhanish Fathima R., and Mrs. M. Shanthi. 150 students and teachers participated and benefited.
